About the Project
PayPros is a financial services company offering payment solutions to businesses ranging from small independents to larger corporate clients. The project focused on creating a logo that could hold its own in a space dominated by well-known, heavily trusted brands.
The Goal
The client came in with a clear reference point: PayPal. Not to copy it, but to borrow from what makes it work. They wanted the familiarity, the clean typography, the colour, the style and the confidence of a mark that people trust without thinking twice.
The logo needed to work in two formats, horizontal and square, making it functional across digital platforms, marketing materials and future brand applications without losing consistency between versions.
Strategic Insights
Familiarity is a feature in financial services. In payments, trust is everything. A logo that feels visually familiar to established players in the space does real work before the product ever does. The brief was not about imitation, it was about borrowed credibility used honestly.
Two formats. A logo that only works in one layout is a logo with limitations. Designing for both horizontal and square from the start meant the brand could show up consistently wherever it needed to, without compromise.
Solution
The final logo takes clear cues from PayPal in colour, style and feel, landing on something that communicates professionalism and trust immediately, without looking like a replica of anything that already exists.
The Results
PayPros now has a logo that positions them credibly in a competitive space. Clean, modern and immediately legible in both formats, it gives the brand the professional foundation needed to build confidence with the businesses they serve.
