About the Project
Austin’s Auto Dealership is an established car dealership with a loyal local following, recognisable signage and an active promotional calendar. This project focused on bringing their visual communication up to the same standard as their reputation, creating a consistent and polished design system that could support ongoing marketing efforts, seasonal campaigns and day-to-day promotions without losing the brand identity already in place.
The Goal
The brand already had equity. Bold reds, deep and light blues, and a logo with real recognition in the market, none of that needed to change. What was missing was consistency in how those elements came together across different formats and touchpoints.
The goal was to refine the brand without reinventing it: build on what was already working, tighten the visual language, and create a foundation that made every new graphic feel like it belonged to the same family.
Strategic Insights
An established brand needs evolution, not disruption. Changing too much risked alienating a loyal audience that already recognised and trusted the dealership. The visual work had to feel like a natural step forward, more polished and more cohesive, without signalling a rebrand.
Inconsistency was the real problem, not the brand itself. The core identity was strong. What was holding it back was the variation between individual graphics, different treatments, different hierarchies, different tones. Solving for consistency was the highest-leverage move.
Promotions needed to work harder across platforms. With an active events and promotions calendar, the dealership needed graphics that translated clearly whether seen on a screen, printed large or shared on social. The design system had to be practical, not just beautiful.
Solution
The work centred on creating a repeatable visual system built around the dealership’s existing brand colours and identity. Each graphic, from anniversary sales to expo promotions to seasonal campaigns, was designed to feel immediately recognisable as Austin’s, while being clear and direct enough to communicate quickly in a scroll.
Alongside the ongoing graphic design support, a new website was designed to bring the same consistency to their digital presence, giving the dealership a cohesive visual experience across every platform a customer might encounter them on.
The Results
A collection of on-brand graphics with consistent design and clear messaging, and a new website that matched the updated visual direction. The dealership now has a unified presence, one that reflects the quality of the business it represents, and a system flexible enough to keep up with an active promotional calendar.
